델, 한국 내 총판 체결로 국내 시장 유통 채널 강화

델의 한국법인인 델 인터내셔널㈜(대표 피터 마스, 이하 델 코리아)가 국내 처음으로 대원씨티에스(대표 정명천)와 총판 계약을 체결하고 국내 비즈니스 확대를 적극 추진한다고 밝혔다. 조인식에는 리차드 리 델 부회장겸 아시아태평양지역 GCC(Global Commercial Channels) 총책임자를 비롯해 양사 대표 및 관계자가 참석했다.

대원씨티에스는 델 커머셜 및 엔터프라이즈 전 제품의 유통을 담당한다. 특히 재고를 보유할 수 있는 총판정책에 따라 고객들에게 한층 빠른 제품 및 솔루션 수급이 가능해졌으며 다양한 제품 포트폴리오를 선보일 수 있게 되었다.

델코리아는 이미 델 제품을 구매하고 있는 SI사 중심으로 폭 넓은 기반의 채널 마케팅을 진행하고 있었으며 이번 총판 계약 체결 이후 채널 파트너들을 확대하고 델 제품 및 솔루션의 판매를 강화할 예정이다.

델은 총판을 통해 다양한 제품 및 솔루션 익일 제공 및 편리한 신용 옵션을 제공함으로써 고객의 만족도를 높일 계획이다. 고객 역시 기존 채널을 포함한 총판을 통해 맞춤형 IT 솔루션을 다양하게 요구할 수 있게 되었다. 델코리아는 이미 국내 80여 개의 채널 파트너를 가지고 있으며 ‘파트너 다이렉트’를 통해 주문형 제작방식을 지속적으로 제공함으로 제품 및 솔루션 포트폴리오를 확대할 예정이다.

델은 총판 발표와 함께 GCC 조직을 한국에 설립한다고 공식적으로 밝혔다. 이번 GCC조직의 설립으로 델코리아는 국내 고객들에게 기존 채널과 새로운 총판 등 한층 다양해진 채널 정책을 통해 고객이 원하는 제품을 공급할 수 있게 됐다.

GCC는 아태지역 19,000여개 이상의 커머셜 파트너를 보유하고 있으며 대기업, 공공, 중견기업 등 비즈니스 전 분야에 걸쳐 채널에 필요한 프로그램 및 정책을 지원하고 있다.

리차드 리 델 부회장겸 아시아태평양지역 GCC 총책임자는 “델은 채널 파트너들과 그들의 고객들의 비즈니스가 성장하고 더 큰 가치를 이룰 수 있도록 최선을 다해 도울 것”이라며 “신뢰를 바탕으로 파트너들이 원하는 비즈니스 목표를 이룰 수 있도록 적극 지원할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
