애플, 4인치로 늘이고 두께 줄인 아이폰 5 발표

애플이 새로운 아이폰 5를 발표하였다. 기존 4s와 거의 동일한 디자인에 16:9 비율의 4인치 레티나 디스플레이를 적용하고 프로세서와 그래픽 성능을 2배 빠르게 향상시킨 것이 차이점이다. 특히 당초 지원 여부가 불투명했던 LTE를 지원, 국내에서는 SK와 KT에서 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.

카메라는 기존 4S와 동일한 8백만 화소를 장착하고 있으며 2.4 렌즈 밝기를 특징으로 한다. 전면부에 1.2메가 픽셀의 카메라가 탑재된다. 배터리는 3G 통화, 브라우징 기준 8시간, LTE 브라우징 8시간, 와이파이 비디오 사용시 10시간, 음악 재생 40시간이며 대기 시간은 225시간이다.

성능을 높였지만 두께는 7.6mm로 4s 대비 18% 얇아졌고 무게는 112g으로 역시 4s 대비 20% 가벼워졌다. 사파이어 크리스탈 커버를 적용, 흠집에 강하며 케이스 컬러는 기존과 동일한 블랙, 화이트 2종이다. 용량은 4s와 동일한 16, 32, 64GB이며 9월 21일 미국, 캐나다, 영국, 프랑스, 독일, 호주, 일본, 싱가포르에 첫 발매된다. 국내 출시 일정은 아직 정해지지 않았다.

한편 새롭게 출시된 아이폰 5에 대한 반응은 대체로 ’혁신성이 엿보이지 않는다’, ’예상 가능한 수준의 변화’, ’스마트폰의 평준화 시대가 열리고 있음을 보여주는 결과물’ 등의 부정적인 의견이 많다.

실물은 은근히 이쁠것 같은데...갤럭시 계열은 뒷판이 플라스틱이라 정이 안간다는...그래도 이건 알루미늄이라 디자인은 괜찮을텐데...한줄 더 늘인걸로 지겨운 같은 디자인을 또 사기엔..ㅜㅠ
