글로벌 PC 기업인 MSI코리아(대표 공번서)는 유통사인 ㈜엔씨디지텍(대표 진건도)을 통해 최신 고성능 엔비디아 쿼드로 K시리즈가 탑재된 GT60, GT70 워크스테이션 노트북 시리즈를 출시한다고 17일 밝혔다.
인텔 쿼드코어 프로세서 i7-3630QM(2.4GHz) CPU를 탑재하고 있는 MSI GT60(15.6인치), GT70(17.3인치) 워크스테이션 시리즈는 하이앤드 모바일 그래픽 칩셋인 최신 엔비디아 쿼드로(Quadro) K시리즈를 탑재하였으며 특히 전문가용 엔비디아 쿼드로 GPU인 K1000M, K2000M, K3000M 탑재 모델은 최고속, 고효율 아키텍쳐인 케플러(Kepler) 기반이며 이전 세대 쿼드로 모바일 그래픽 카드 솔루션과 동일한 전력 대비 고효율의 성능을 제공한다.
LCD는 17.3인치 1920x1080 HD급 해상도와 LED 백라이트를 장착했으며, 빛반사가 적은 안티 글레어를 적용하였고 95%이상의 색재현율을 구현하는 패널을 채택했다. 또한 HDMI 포트와 D서브 단자, 미니 디스플레이 포트를 이용하여 ’매트릭스 멀티 디스플레이’ 출력을 지원해 외부모니터 3대와 노트북 1대 총 4개의 디스플레이를 각각 운용할 수 있으며 일부 SR 모델의 경우 가속 이중 솔리드 스테이트 드라이버(SSD) 아키텍쳐를 사용하는 기기적 장치인 MSI ’슈퍼레이드 기술’이 접목되어 빠른 부팅속도와 프로그램 실행 속도 등을 보여준다.

이밖에 버튼 하나로 노트북의 온도를 8~10도 가량 낮춰주는 ‘쿨러 부스트(Cooler Boost)’로 냉각 속도를 높혔으며, ’킬러랜’은 PC에서 사용자가 지정한 우선순위의 랜값을 먼저 처리하여 짧은 응답속도와 동시 다중다운로드에서 안정적이며 빠르게 데이터를 처리하게 된다. 영화관 음향 시스템인 ‘THX 테크놀로지’를 지원해 입체적인 사운드를 구현하였고, 헤드셋 착용 유저들을 위해 오디오 단자 4개에 도금 처리를 하여 오디오 시스템에서도 전도율을 한층 높혔다.
신모델 MSI 워크스테이션 구매자 전원에게는, 신제품 출시를 기념하여 스틸시리즈 고급 마우스와 타거스 정품 백팩을 증정하고 기존 2년간 A/S기간에서 1년을 연장, 총 3년간 무상A/S기간을 제공한다.
