다음 순서는 입력 디바이스들이다. 키보드를 먼저 보자. 회백색의 키보드는 노트북의 크기에 걸맞게 풀싸이즈 키보드로서 19mm의 키피치와 3mm의 스트로크를 가지고 있다.

키보드의 크기에 대해서는 불만이 없다. 하지만 일산모델이라 오른쪽 쉬프트가 불편하다는 점은 차치하고라도 방향키와 PAGE UP/DOWN 키처럼 사용빈도가 높은 키들이 분리되어 있지 않아 불편을 준다. 길쭉한 엔터키를 줄이면 PAGE UP/DOWN 키 공간 정도는 충분히 나올텐데 말이다.

전체적인 키감은 풀사이즈 키보드가 그렇듯 상당히 좋은편이다. 반발력도 적당하고 키의 좌우 흔들림이나 들뜸 없이 대체적으로 양호하다. 단 전체적인 키감은 좋지만 세부적으로 각키의 반발력이 조금씩 차이가 나는 듯한 느낌이 들고 키보드의 오른쪽은 약간의 압력에도 들썩거리리는게 정교한 느낌을 주지는 못한다.

키보드에 대해선 평균적인 성능을 발휘하는 정도라고 볼 수 있겠다.



팜레스트부를 보면 넓찍한 공간에 터치패드 하나가 전부인데, 어찌보면 조금 썰렁해보인다. 터치패드의 감도는 전반적으로 우수하며 3개의 조작버튼을 가지고 있다. 물론 가운데 버튼은 스크롤용 버튼이다.

올인원급에 해당하는 노트북이니만큼 디지털 카메라의 사용도가 점점 증가하는 요즘 SMC나 SD 메모리 슬롯 하나 정도는 갖춰도 됨직한데 아쉽게도 FMV-16AH에는 광학 드라이브 외에 별도의 외장형 드라이브 장치는 하나도 탑재되어 있지 않다.



키보드 상단을 보면 왼쪽부터 노트북의 각종 동작상태를 한눈에 알 수 있는 후지쯔 특유의 LCD창이 있고, 그 옆으로 5개의 기능키들이 있는데, 각키는 사용자 지정에 따라 특정 프로그램을 실행하는 것과 오디오 CD나 음악 프로그램 사용시 제어키로도 사용가능하게 되어 있다.

또한 이 5개의 키들을 조합하여 시스템 시작시 암호 입력키로 사용할 수 있는데, 최고 80만 가지 조합의 암호설정이 가능한 보안 기능도 제공한다.


MR16AH에는 요즘 젊은 유저들 사이에서 거의 필수로 인식되고 있는 IEEE802.11b 무선 랜이 기본 장착되어 있어 무선 AP가 있는 환경에서 편리하게 사용할 수 있다.

노트북 왼쪽 측면 끝부분에 무선랜 ON/OFF 스위치가 있는데, 스위치를 누르면 무선랜의 작동이 멈추고 다시 누르면 재작동을 한다. 녹색 램프로 무선랜의 동작상태를 체크할 수 있게 되어 있다.



MR16AH의 포트들



먼저 노트북의 전면부이다. 좌측부분에 4핀 규격의 1394포트와 헤드폰 단자, 마이크 단자가 위치해 있다. 대용량 데이타를 다룰 일이 빈번해진 요즘, 고속으로 데이타 전송이 가능한 1394포트는 이제 거의 필수 사양이 되고 있는 추세이다.

특히 헤드폰 단자는 광출력 단자를 겸하고 있어 DVD 감상시 5.1CH 외부 스피커를 연결하면 MR16AH만으로도 홈씨어터 환경을 구성할 수 있다. 5.1채널 외장 스피커인 야마하 TSS-1 연결해 보니 박진감 넘치는 사운드가 넘쳐나온다.



전면부 좌우 하단부에 스테레오 스피커가 들어가 있는데 음질은 내장 스피커치고는 상당히 양호한 편이다. 저음과 고음간의 음역이 넓고 최대 음량상태에서도 그다지 음이 찢어지지 않는다.

실내사용은 물론 웬만한 환경의 외부에서도 큰 문제 없이 사용할만큼 충분한 성능을 가지고 있다.
