MR16AH에 사용된 그래픽 칩셋은 노트북에서 이미 성능을 입증받은 ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7500이며 16MB의 그래픽 램을 내장하고 있다. 3D Mark 2001 테스트 수치가 보여주듯 노트북으로서 부족함 없는 성능을 보여준다. 1024*768 32BIT 설정에서 2915점을, 1280*1024 32BIT 설정에서 1891점을 기록했으니 그래픽 성능에 있어서는 안심하고 사용해도 되겠다.

차례대로 산드라를 사용하여 실시한 CPU 연산 테스트, 멀티미디어 테스트, 램 대역폭 테스트, 하드디스크 테스트이다. 각 그래프 맨 위에 있는 수치가 MR16AH의 것이다. 전체적으로 스펙상에 명시된 제원과 동일한 성능을 보여준다.

하드디스크의 경우 일어판 OS 상에서 실시한 테스트 결과는 13500 정도였다. 한글 윈도우 XP를 설치하고나서 하드디스크의 속도가 현저히 줄어들었는데, 이는 MS사에서 최근에 업데이트한 SP1을 설치하면 다시 회복된다.

전체적인 성능면에서 옥 티를 지적하라면 스핀들 모터의 속도가 4200RPM밖에 안되는 느림보 하드디스크를 들 수 있겠다. .



발열과 소음



일단 발열이 가장 심한 곳은 바닥 왼쪽부분인데, 디지털 온도계로 측정해보니 46도를 나타냈다. 이정도면 팬티엄 4 CPU를 장착한 노트북치고는 양호한 수준이다.

팜레스트 왼쪽 부분으로 약간 미지근한 정도의 열이 올라오는데, DVD를 1시간 정도 돌리고나서 온도를 측정해보니 37.6도를 가리켰다. 발열에 있어서도 큰 문제가 없었다. 쿨링팬은 CPU 부하가 큰 작업에서만 작동을하며 전체적인 소음문제도 간헐적으로 딸깔거리 하드 소음말고는 크게 문제가 되지 않을 정도로 정숙한 편이다.
